राष्ट्रीय अध्यापक शिक्षा परिषद् (एन0सी0टी0ई0) अध्यापक शिक्षा की सर्वोच्च संस्था है जिसे संसद द्वारा 1993 में मान्यता दी गई है (एन0सी0टी0ई0 एक्ट 1993)। The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is the apex body in the Teacher Education and mandated through Act of Parliament in 1993. (NCTE Act, 1993) अद्यतन, राष्ट्रीय अध्यापक शिक्षा परिषद् अध्यापक शिक्षा को एक आवश्यकता आधारित कार्यक्रम बनाना चाह रही है, इसलिए 4 वर्षीय इंटिग्रेटेड बी0एड0 कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत की है जिससे दोहरी डिग्री B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed.प्राप्त होती हैं। Recently, the NCTE is trying to make Teacher Education programmes as need based programme, hence, initiated 4 Year-Integrated B.Ed. programme, leading to dual degree of B.A.-B.Ed. and B.Sc.-B.Ed. B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. की डिग्री के उपरांत बी0एड0 करने से कुल 5 (पाँच) वर्ष का समय लगता है जबकि इंटिग्रेटेड B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed. से एक वर्ष का बहुमूल्य समय बचाता है। साथ-ही-साथ ऐसे छात्र जिन्हें B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed. की डिग्री है, वे उस नौकरी में आवेदन हेतु योग्य है जिसके लिए न्यूनतम योग्यता स्नातक की उपाधि है। After getting degree of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com and then doing B.Ed. takes a total of5 years of time while integrated B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed. saves one year precious time. At the same time, students having B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed. degree are eligible to apply for any job for which minimum qualification is graduation. एन0सी0टी0ई0 अध्यापक शिक्षा कार्यक्रम का कायाकल्प करना चाह रही है और चाहती है कि इस पाठ्यक्रम में रूचि रखने वाले एवं वास्तविक ईच्छुक व्यक्ति ही आएँ, इसलिए +2/ इंटरमिडिएट स्तर पास करते ही अध्यापक शिक्षा कार्यक्रम का चुनाव करें। एन0सी0टी0ई0 2019 से इंटिग्रेटेड टीचर एजुकेशन प्रोग्राम (ITEP) पर बल दे रही है। NCTE is also trying to overhaul Teacher Education programme and wants that only interested and genuine persons should come to this profession hence, allowing candidates to decide when passing +2/intermediate level itself to opt for Teacher Education Programme. NCTE is focusing on Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) since 2019. इसलिए, उनके लिए यह एक अवसर है जो एक अच्छा शिक्षक बनना चाहते हैं तथा अपना एक वर्ष का बहुमूल्य समय बचाना चाहते है। So, this is an opportunity to those, who want to become good teacher and save their precious one year. इस समय बिहार में केवल चार संस्थाएँ चार वर्षीय इंटिग्रेटेड बी0एड0 कोर्स, जिसमें B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed. की डिग्री प्राप्त होती है, चला रही है। ये सभी संस्थान बाबा साहेब भीम राव अम्बेडकर बिहार विश्वविद्यालय, मुजफ्फरपुर (बिहार) से सम्बद्ध हैं। वे हैं Currently, only four institutions are offering 4 Year-Integrated B.Ed.
